Annual celebration weekend and AGM
Harefield Transplant Club are delighted to host our next annual celebration weekend from Friday 25th – Sunday 27 September 2026, at the Riviera Hotel Bournemouth (BH4 8JF).
Once a year, Harefield Transplant Club hosts a weekend of fun where we bring together transplant patients and supporters together to celebrate life (and throw a great party!). Everyone is welcome (including non-members), even if you’ve never been to an event before.
The theme for the Friday night party is “Famous Pictures and Paintings.” Your fancy dress should represent a famous picture or painting.
NB This is totally optional, and if dressing up isn’t your thing, come in your glad rags and be your own work of art.
During the weekend we also hold our charity Annual General Meeting (AGM), where we appoint committee members to serve the following year, agree on any changes of policy, report on what we’ve achieved in the past year and gather feedback from our members on what they would like from us.
Event pricing
It is £97.50 per adult per night, based on 2 people sharing a double or twin room, or 1 person occupying a single room. For children aged 3 to 12yrs, it is £48.75 per child per night. Children up to 2 are free. Children aged 13 or over are classed as an adult.
This includes the evening meal, bed and breakfast. If you wish to stay for any additional nights these should be booked directly with the hotel.
Harefield Transplant Club can offer a £40 per night contribution for members (transplant or no transplant) that would find if challenging to attend otherwise.
Bookings must be secured with a £50 per person non-refundable deposit, payable by Tuesday 21 July 2026. This is a HARD deadline as the club Treasurer is out of the country after this. We can not accept any bookings or deposits after this date.
The remainder of the balance will be due directly to the hotel, who will send out instructions once we have confirmed bookings, no later than Thursday 3rd September .
