I received my heart transplant at Harefield hospital in 2019 due to Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. I first joined HTC in 2021 after hearing about it from fellow transplant friends. It is wonderful to be part of such a supportive community who all understand what it is to be a transplant patient.

I am a passionate advocate for organ donation, giving talks in education and medical settings where I can, as I try to raise as much awareness as possible. This is also driven by the fact that my brother received his heart transplant in 2016.

I’m hoping to use my skills to contribute to the fantastic work Harefield Transplant Club does in supporting pre and post-transplant families. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible at the next Annual Celebration weekend or at other events throughout the year.
